Here is a vintage George Westenholm 3 5/8 fixed blade rare stag handle hunting knife. The blade is carbon steel and has been sharpened and maintained as carbon steel blade that is sharp. The blade surfaces are bright and there is some light. Porosity visible when flashed in light. The blade is stamped IXL George Westenholm Sheffield England. The brass guard is tight to the handle. The stag antler handle is set off by red, black acetate and spacer ringings. The pommel is stag with a spanner nut threaded tang tightener. The pommel is tight to the handle assembly. There are no crack outs or chips visible to the unaided eye.

The original leather sheath is with the knife in good+ condition. The sheath has all the stitches and rivets as well as some rivets added years ago. I have added a poly liner to the sheath to isolate the knife and a liner for the handle as well. This is a rare and older variety of the small Westenholm hunting knife with stag pommel and spanner nut specialty. Thank you for looking and please see the pictures.
