Vtg Estate find hunting knives Schrade Walden 148 & Western Bird/Trout. Bird/Trout hunting knife has a 4 1/2 carbon Steel Blade. Stacked Leather Handle, Brass half guard and inserts, aluminum pommel, blood groove and its original leather sheath. It is in very good overall condition.

A little clean and fine edge and off you go! The Schrade-Walden Hunting/Skinner knife #148 is c1960's. It also has a stacked leather handle, match strike, Blade is approx. 5 and looks to have been polished up by previous owner. It shows the remnants of some minor pitting on the blade.

Steel guard, aluminum pommel, leather sheath There is a small gap in spacer near pommel end. The handle remains very tight/solid. Two nice old knives to add to your hunt this year and/or collection.
