Vintage Rigid RG-45 Seki Japan Tak Fukuta 7.5 Fixed Bowie Blade Knife

This fantastic knife was produced by Tak Fukuta in Seki, Japan for Rigid circa 1980s. One of his most popular Rigid designs, this is a fighting bowie and the blade is just under 1/4 thick. It measures 12" long overall and the blade measures 7.5" long.

Tak Fukuta was the first Japanese member of the American Kife Maker's Guild, and apprentice to Bob Loveless. He hand crafted fine quality knives that impressed his mentor. Over the years, his factory in Seki, Japan also produced knives for Parker, Valor, Gutmann, Explorer, Frost, and Browning among others.

Sheath is not original but works well. Folder Closed, or Fixed Overall Length: 12.
