Classic Mid-Century Mexican Bowie Knife. 1950s-1970s Mexican Bowie Knife made in Monterrey.

Blade stamp: "MONTERREY" with scenic etching. Scenic blade etch: deer / mountain hunting scene.

Faux stag or bone handle scales. Original tooled leather sheath with eagle design. The eagle pommel with the finger ring was designed so riders could hang the knife from a saddle or wrist cord.

It's a style often called a Mexican Eagle Bowie.
