Vintage Frank Barteaux Hunting Fighting Knife With Sheath. The blade measures about 5 1/4 inches long. The handle is aluminum and is cast directly onto the knife. It has "F Barteaux" on the bottom of the handle. However the top portions of the lettering is worn off.
The sheath is an original Barteaux sheath but it's not the one that came with this knife when I obtained it (I already had it) but they fit together perfectly and the snap works. It is a twin sheath with a spot for a side knife. There is no side knife. I'm not sure what era the knife is from but I think it's post ww2. It has discoloring, scratches, blemishes, dings, wear, etc consistent with a vintage knife.
