A few years back AG Russell looked at photos of this knife. He said it was made in the custom shop by Bob Dozier in the 1980s with premium stag , a stainless steel hilt, and that the sheath was original. He wasn't sure of the blade steel but thought it might be D2. This is a handful of knife - a large hunter or small bowie with a false top edge. It's been used and sharpened and probably stored in the sheath for many years.

The blade has scratches and light age spotting like you would see with non-stainless steel like D2. The stag is premium and the large hilt is stainless steel.

This is the only one I've seen of this model so I doubt many were made. Still a great collectable or a great user. The photos show the knife very well. Streaks and smudges are fingerprints and polish residue. Shadows and bubbles are from the camera.
