This is a very well designed hunting knife made in Seki, Japan circa 1970s by Tak Fukuta as a prototype for Cam III. It features a mirror polished AUS-8 stainless steel blade and micarta handle. It has a tapered tang with red paper spacers and has nickel silver bolsters. Measuring 9.75" long overall with a 3.5" long blade.

Tak Fukuta was the first Japanese member of the American Knife Maker's Guild, and apprentice to Bob Loveless. He hand crafted fine quality knives that impressed his mentor. Over the years, his factory in Seki, Japan also produced knives for Parker, Valor, Gutmann, Explorer, Frost, and Browning among others. After his passing, several vintage old stock models were found at his warehouse. This is one of those rare finds.
