Union Cutlery KA-BAR Knife & Orig. No Sheath Hunting Skinning Vintage VTG. THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL AND RARE LITTLE KABAR SHORTY HUNTING KNIFE, SOME FOLKS CALL THEM LITTLE HUNTERS, AND WAS MADE BETWEEN 1923 AND 1943.
I HAVE COLLECTED THESE FOR MANY YEARS AND THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITES. IT MEASURES 6-1/2" OVERALL WITH A 3-1/4" BLADE, THATS WHY IT'S CALLED A SHORTY, IT'S A SMALL HUNTER KNIFE AND THEY ARE GETTING HARDER TO FIND. BOTH THE BLADE TANGS ARE STAMPED. ONE IS STAMPED KABAR REG.OFF AND THE OTHER SIDE IS STAMPED UNION CUTLERY CO. Please see pictures for condition and details.
