Condition is listed as "Used", because I bought it from a consignment shop online a long time ago and I don't know its history. It's sharp enough to cut paper. It's in great shape as you can see in pics. I've never been able to get out to use it due to family medical problems.

It's considered old specs, because Survive Knives later changed the types of screws from flathead screws to torx screws as well as changing the way they contoured the scales. GSO-3.5 is a small chore knife that is big on cutting performance. It's feather light weight and compact size perfectly compliments those users with small to medium hands. This little knife is also perfect for those situations where carrying a full sized fixed blade isn't practical but when you still need something more robust than a folding knife.

Handles will have our proprietary microtexturing for added grip. All knives will be built with precision machined tumbled fasteners and come with kydex sheaths. Key features of the kydex sheaths include: excellent retention, drain channels, and several attachment options with slots and eyelets, in addition to the kydex clip.

CPM-3V is a high alloyed tool steel, made using the Crucible Particle Metallurgy process, that has a very high impact toughness and excellent edge holding. Being made with the CPM process, this steel is also very resistant to lateral stress (flex) breakage, making it a perfect choice for a high performance, hard use knife. CPM-3V is not a stainless alloy and can stain if not cared for. Blade has a Delta heat treat is a protocol developed by a group of innovators who were working independently to push CPM-3V to its full potential. After joining forces, CPM-3V Delta became a reality and it is now used exclusively by those three companies. Tumbled blades have a galvanize appearance which helps to hide wear.
