This knife was made as a tribute to the 1849 Cal. Gold Rush era which features the look of hammered textured gold nuggets to hilt & pummel, this hammered texture gold nugget feature was a designed interest and tie-in to that Gold Rush era when a man's knife had to be the best made. This was a limited production of this style Schrade knife, also with leather sheath.
There are also two "Hallmark Stamps" of a crown & anvil on top end of pummel, placed there by an expert custom cutlery craftsman who with his talent, polished and crafted the perfect carbon steel blade and handle into a well balanced knife by placing his stamp as seen, he gave his personal approval to the high quality of this fine custom knife. Blade measures 5 1/8" in length, 1/8" thick & 9 3/8 overall knife length.
Has been out of production long before the year 2004 and no longer available.
