Here is a Frank Barteaux aluminum handle Knife measuring 11" overall with a stainless steel blade length of 6". Blade shows sharpening, handle below the guard shows a surface crack or loss is probably a better word, the knife is tight and no looseness at all. Strong blade, not flexible, the top part of the blade where the false edge would be shows some small tiny small dings. Comes with a brown leather sheath, decent shape. Nice shape overall showing some age patina.
Very similar to the Murphy Knives, this unmarked WWII era Knife was made in Oregaon and at the same shop where Murphy made his famous combat knives and the original Gerber Knives.
