Rare VTG 1930's CASE XX USA 961 indestructible Pearl Celluloid Knife Hatchet. There is some fairly deep pitting to the knife blade and the tang of the axe head. Both the knife blade and the axe head lock tightly and securely in the handle. It doesn't look like the axe head was used at all.
I don't see any cracks in the celluloid. The sheath is stiff and has some rodent nibble damage. Blade length(tip of blade to finger guard): 4-5/8. Bit to poll distance: 4-1/4.
