Rare Vintage Theatre Bowie Knife M1 Garand Bayonet Kutmaster Utica NY + Sheath

Vintage Theatre Knife measuring 11" overall with a blade length of 6.5" blade. Blade shows original bright finish with some sharpening, scattered age patina, use. This is listed on page 226 of "Bayonets from Janzens Notebook ".

This was done quite well, the hole for the release catch has been removed, no cutout for bayonet lug, also professionally done. The handle was from a U. M1 Garand Bayonet M1905 and the fullered blade is marked, "KUTMASTER UTICA NY" on the ricasso. Blade and handle are tight.

These knives were produced by Utica Cutlery Co. For sale to the commerical market.
