New Old Western L66 Knife & New Sheath Custom Buck 119 Style Silver/blk S Reed

Please note the last picture is showing the Red Western knife and a Buck 119 that is similar to this build. This is a new Western L66 from the factory when it closed back in the 70's. This blade has never been issued. I made all the parts and i sign my work. I Polished the blade and made the handle using the original handle configuation with the idea to enhance the lines of the knife with the silver outline without changing the original handle configuration of a Buck 119.

I decided to add the 3 pin to bring it up to speed and highlight the handle lines a little. I added some black to the Guard and the Pommel just to add a little detail. The transition from the guard to the handle worked out nice, I love how that looks.

I love the 119 and the Western L66 so I wanted to combined the idea of a custom handle into one knife. It's kind of like Ginger Baker Playing Ringo's Drum Kit.

I like the way this turned out. This is a very cool knife.
