New 1964/1965 Case Kodiak Hunter Knife Box & Unused Sheath

I was messaged by several "Case knife experts" that this is an early 1st issue Kodiak due to the unusual alligator floating sheath. The knife has never been in the sheath from what I can tell.

There are some minor scratches on the mirror polish blade due to 50+ years of storage and moving about.
