Hoffritz Finland Vintage Puukko Style Hunting Knife, Tapio Wirkkala Design
Offered for sale is a vintage Hoffritz (made by Hackman) fixed-blade Puukko style hunting knife, made in Finland, probably ca. This knife was designed by the noted Finnish architect and industrial designer Tapio Wirkkala. This knife features a stainless steel blade, a brass hilt and pommel, and a composite handle. The blade is slightly over 1/8 thick at the hilt. The blade is etched Hoffritz Finland Stainless. The knife is in very good condition overall, showing signs of occasional use and carry.
The blade appears to be at least 99% intact. This knife is very well made, and will provide many more years of service with proper care.
