This is a very well-made Bowie with solid full-tang construction, genuine stag handle scales, German silver guard. Stag scales are intact; all parts are tight with no play. The knife is about 8-3/4" / 22.2 cm overall, the blade is about 4-3/4" / 12 cm. The blade is very sharp still; the tip is intact. Original brown leather sheath is in great condition, considering the age.
The leather is soft and supple; original stitching is intact. These antique sheath are actually more scarce than the knives themselves since they just usually don't last as long.
