In 1987 Sports Afield commissioned some of America's greatest knife makers to create a set of seven nickel bolstered knives with white bone scrimshaw handles. They then sent them out to the Aurum company to have the blades polished, etched and 24kt gold filled. This Gerber Model 525 Hunting Knife is number 62 of 100 made Hunting knifes that was made for the project. The scrimshaw handle on this knife is excellent. The moose is very detailed and life like. A great showpiece knife for your collection. Blade Length - 4 1/2. Overall Length - 9 3/8.
