Extremely Rare, and A One-Off Walt K. Includes a Tooled Sheath shown in Dark Brown. Walt Bushman was a Maryland resident, and knife-smith well known for his functional, and eye-catching knife designs. I personally knew him when he forged this offering.
It was too hard and complex to get the angles of the handle correct to provide symmetry and balance to the finished knife. He never tried to craft this model again, thus we have a one-off for the enjoyment of any proud knife owner. Overall length is 12, with a 420HC Stainless blade at 7. The cutting edge is 6 1/8 of razor-sharp plain edge.
The handle is a marvelous burl wood sporting a beautiful grain, and shows well featuring eight flat surfaces stopping at the brass finger guard, and butt cap. The blade is stamped with Walts well know Makers Mark W. The item "Extremely Rare Walt K. Never Used Outside of Display" is in sale since Wednesday, August 12, 2020.
