European Hunting Knife Dagger with Scabbard Early 19th Century

This is a beautiful and well made European Hunting Dagger Knife which dates from the early 19th Century and is complete with its leather scabbard. It is mounted with a straight, clipped point blade that measures 10 7/8 inches in length by 1 3/8 inches at the widest which remains in very nice condition with its Military style engravings still beautifully present on either side. It wears an S-shaped hefty steel crossguard that although has a bit of play does remain in good condition.

The lovely carved bone hilt features simple carvings and remains healthy in its condition with a lovely yellow mellowing now developed. The leather scabbard reflects age wear to the leather nevertheless both fittings remain present. Overall the Knife measures 15 1/4 inches in length. Be sure to add me to your favorites list.
