SOLINGEN WESTERN GERMANY - marked on the sheath. This knife is handmade in Solingen Germany, known worldwide for premier steel used in making knives. This classic hunting knife sports Deer Stag handle grips, a brass blade guard and a very sharp trailing point high carbon stainless steel blade with a polished mirror finish and a thumb rest. Sturdy stitched leather sheath with metal rivets. This decades old knife has never been re-sharpened and the appearance is like new with no scuffs scratches or sheath marks.

This vintage knife is close to mint condition. Overall length is 8 1/4. The 4 1/4 inch blade has the original production edge, has never been re-sharpened and is very sharp. The blade has its original mirror finish.

The Deer Stag Handle grips are perfect and tight and feel good in the hand. The 9 1/4 inch heavy sewn and riveted sheath is also in very good condition with normal age patina.

The stitching is all there and the rivets are shiny. The leather is soft and not cracked. The snap closure is fully functional (See Pictures and Description).
