Morseth is stamped on the tang on the other side of the blade. Overall length is about 9 and 3/8 inches blade length is 4 and 15/16 inches.
The sheath is the original Morseth Everett, Wa safe-lok. It is stamped Patent Applied For.
The sheath patent was finally granted in 1953. Quality heavy leather with fiber liner and leather collar to hold the knife in place and has a belt loop.
A Stag head is stamped on the front on the keeper collar. The leather, tooling designs, hand lacing and tassels are in great shape. Overall, the knife and sheath are in nice shape with no major issues.
Remember, this is a used knife and has been carried in the field and the blade has scratches as would be expected. The knife has been lightly sharpened. There is a small tight hairline crack in the butt at the tang nut and extending about a quarter of an inch. This is a nice example of a Morseth knife and sheath and a great opportunity to own a classic knife from one of the greatest knife makers, Harry Morseth from Everett, Wa.
