This quillon is solid brass, large and strong enough to keep your fingers where they belong--on your hand. Handle scales are beautiful stag, hafted over a full tang using three old-fashioned brass pins, which give the piece an overall effect of antique refinement.

It's a hand-forged piece of substance yet enjoys a surprisingly light feel in the hand, with exceptional balance. At 10.25" long with a 6.25" blade that's 3/16 thick, it's a massive piece of self-defense and woe be unto whomever might be stupid enough to get on the wrong end of it. It has a false edge but that edge is not sharpened, so the piece is entirely legal in Australia.
