An early, Very Nice Pre-1890 Vintage Skinning Knife from, "Sheffield" by JOHN WIGFALL, and features the "BON-A-FIDE" logo on the blade. See page 123 in The Skinning Knife book to read its story. Edge is original and shows no use. Blade is bright with mild patina, and a few tiny specks of rust. This is the actual knife once owned by Howard Cole and featured in his book on Skinning Knives on page 123.
