This is a very nice and very rare vintage 1931 to 1955 KENT hunter with Winterbottom bone handles. It appears this knife has been put up properly and never used at all, see pictures. The knife measures 9" overall with a 5" blade.
The blade is 100% full with a clip point and a 3 false edge on the top spine, it has a beautiful shine and is razor sharp. The blade tang is stamped KENT N. The blade also has a beautiful Lakeside scene with tall trees and a reflection from the water and is stamped KENT SPORTSMAN KROME PLATE. It has a shiny metal double finger guard that has no scratches or dings. The handles are beautiful with multicolored genuine Winterbottom bone with no cracks, chips or any imperfections with large brass rivet brads.
The complete handles are in like near new condition. The sheath is also in like new condition and all the rivets and stitching in great new condition. The handle strap and button also in new condition. This one came from a 65 year collection of vintage knives and is a nice one and a very hard find, feel free to ask any questions. See photos for further details, clarification, and condition.
I added a photo of the Winterbotton bone old plant. Please check out my other vintage knives I do list weekly Case, Kinfolks, Puma, Queen, Kabar and many more so check back often and thanks for looking!
