Snap is good, both opening and closing, and has good half stop. Blade has some minor pitting on the both sides of the blade near the tang.
Blade shows signs of buffing. Handles are black gutta percha and are in good condition Small hairline cracks at the middle pins and typical wear from use. Guard is stamped PAT ALLOWED. Stamp on the tang is good and clear and reads: M. Very unusual and uniquely designed knife.
The blade is much longer than the handle, and is accommodated by an extension that protects the blade when closed, and folds up out of the way into the liner when opened. Swing guard to protect your hands from slipping when opened and in use. Gorgeous black Gutta handles accented with nickel silver bolsters and guard, stainless safety extension piece, and brass liner make this one a real beauty. 4-3/8 from bolster to bolster. 11-1/4 fully opened with safety extension open.
9-3/8 when opened and safety extension is folded inside. 5 blade from tip to bolster. I have a huge assortment of knives that are perfect for collectors. Just search through my other listings by clicking here. There is something for everyone!
