In the meantime, I came across an old file that contains some more information about the knife and some Randall documents. Overall knife length 9-3/4", knife-in-sheath 10-1/2". 5" blade, 3/4" max width, 5/32" thickness by micrometer (listed as 3/16" stock); some discoloration but no rust, and is sharp.
Customized with my father's name opposite the Randall Made logo. Leather handle is solid; a couple of dents and light scratches (see photos). Butt cap of Duralumin has a couple of marks.
Sheath is in good condition with a few light scratches. Stone is 3" by 7/8"; unsure of material / composition perhaps made by Bear? Randall Made Knives Catalogue and Knife Manual (dated 1973), 32 pages.
Combination grit silicon carbide sharpening stone by the Carborundum Company of Niagara Falls, roughly 2-1/4 x 6-1/2 x 1 inches, and labelled 109.
