This is the 3rd model (small nut, aluminum pommel, 2-line logo with serif pointing left) - made between 1923 and 1940 in Gladstone, Michigan. High quality hunting knives had been popular in the States since 1898.
This Trailmaker is used, but it is still in better than average condition for the type. The blade has been lightly sharpened; multiple small contact marks on the spine and false edge; a few surface rust spots are noted for accuracy. Stacked leather washers handle with fiber. Sheath with internal aluminum tip protector. All original stitching and belt loop are intact.The sheath is worn, but the leather is soft and supple; it is in 100% serviceable condition still. With proper care this impressive. Will last you another 80 years. The knife has not been cleaned or tampered with in any way; 100% original condition; these are the actual photos.
