Discontinued Bark River Knives PARANG 1st Production Run Very Hard To Find
Very hard to find Bark River Knives Parang 1st Production Run in BRKs famous A2 steel. This huge chopper has been discontinued for years and is highly sought after. Im guessing these are Red or Maroon Micarta scales (not exactly sure). Anyway, its a really nice color. I recently traded for the parang knowing that it needs to go to BRK for a spa treatment, as it has a lot of scratches. They are really light and hard see in the photos, but they are there. They are not the kind of scratches that come from use. These run length wise on the blade. The guy I traded with said he got it that way also, so he didnt know either. If you can stand the wait, you can send this in to Bark River and get it back later looking brand new. There are also some tiny light stains on the steel as well and some small imperfections and nicks on the scales that also wont show in the photos.

The factory leather sheath is solid, but shows wear, creases, stains, and small cuts from pulling the monster in and out of the sheath. Please look at the many pictures for condition and ask any questions you might have before purchasing. I wish I could post more than 12, but thats the limit. If you need any more pictures, please ask before purchasing. In summary, this parang is used and has lots of light scratches running along the blade, as well as small light stains, plus a few imperfections and nicks on the scales.

In my opinion, it needs to go back to BRK for a spa treatment, but you might can polish or flitz it yourself. I badly want a custom knife that I was just offered, so I decided to sell this parang to afford it. Wish I could keep it though! Also check out my other auctions , as Ill be listing some others like ZT, TOPS, ESEE, Emerson , Zero Tolerance, Benchmade and other knives.

I do occasionally lower the price of items if they dont sell in a reasonable amount of time, so check back occasionally if my current asking price is more than you want to give. And do not offer local pick-up. The item "Discontinued Bark River Knives PARANG 1st Production Run Very Hard To Find" is in sale since Thursday, July 8, 2021.
