1984-85 1st Issue Buck 184 Buckmaster Tactical Survival Knife
This listing features a 1984-85 1st Issue Buck 184 Buckmaster Tactical Survival Knife. The awesome Buckmaster survival knife is best known for being used by the U. Navy Seals as a durable and reliable multi-purpose tool for use in the field. This knife includes it's original sheath, compass, mounted sharpening stone, as well as the anchor spikes and nylon cord. The sheath has a decorative eagle, globe, and wreath insignia added to the front, and has a nylon strap for securing the sheath to the thigh. The knife appears to have been manufactured in 1984 or 85, according to the tang stamp. Blade Style: Double edged Bowie. Edge Type: Plain on bottom edge, serrated and saw tooth on the top side. Sheath: Hard polymer with nylon straps, two pouches on front, plastic clip at belt loop. Condition: Well used, good overall. Sheath also has evidence of prior use such as; visble surface stains, and what appears to be JB Weld at the bottom of one of the pouches. Compass is functional, however, it has some visible dust and dirt particles inside. Notes: One side of tang is stamped with BUCK / 184 / U.
